What does a person write who works between life and death every day? Savita recorded it: in emails, chats and blog posts, straight from her deployment. Her front-line diary is not a retrospective but the moment itself: fear, cold, resolve. The people she was able to save, and those she lost.
I cannot lose in what I am doing here.
